‘Young people informing young people about stuff that matters. That’s fairly broad, but it’s just a DRAFT.
DRAFT TWO - Applications now open
WHO ARE WE?
DRAFT Magazine was established in March 2016. Our inaugural issue, ‘The Kids Are Alright’ went on sale December 2nd, with all profits being donated to The Village School Project, a volunteer organisation seeking to end the cycle of extreme poverty through the establishment of sustainable educational infrastructures and support.
The current media climate fails to acknowledge the growing millennial voice. DRAFT provides a platform for young people globally to discuss and educate others about ideas and issues that they’re passionate about. DRAFT isn’t about persuasion, but education and acknowledgment of the differing views and ideas of their writers who vary in age (15-30), race, gender, sexuality, and religion.
Our theme for DRAFT Two is ‘The World Is Your Oyster’, as going forward we hope to not only educate readers but provide a ‘what next’ in order to incite actual change.
We’re on the hunt for young writers and creatives; aspiring journalists, photographers, artists, designers etc.
As a DRAFT Contributor, you must be:
- Enthusiastic about the mag*
- Organised and punctual
- Passionate and ambitious
